The default file upload limit in JCE is 1024 KB and you need to increase this to upload anything larger
Go to Components -> JCE Editor Pro -> Profiles and select the appropriate profile.
Select the tab Editor Parameters and scroll down the left hand side to find the Filesystem option.
Scroll down to find the Upload file size (KB) option and change the value. This can't exceed the server upload limit shown alongside the field.
